[directfb-users] XDirectfb, XKB and wrong keys

Hello there,
this is somewhat a complement to my previous question but is
also unrelated :

I figured out that my key bindings were not working in
sawfish/xdirectfb because "shift_L" is not recognized as so
(keycode 50 with xev) as well as many other keys that behave
funny.

I remember I compiled xdirectfb with xkb support (default
conf) and tried to play around with the options for XDirectfb
/ xinit :
"xinit -- /usr/local/X11/bin/XDirectFB -defaultOpacity 255
-enableRoot -kb -accessx -noloadxkb -a 0 -c -br -r"
to :
"xinit -- /usr/local/X11/bin/XDirectFB -defaultOpacity 255
-enableRoot +kb -kbddb /etc/X11/xkb/keymaps/xfree86 -xkbmap fr"

but got a "error when loading xkbmap fr" and then defaults to
standard xfree86 keymap.
My "normal" X configuration uses xkb standard xfree86 pc105 fr
layout.

Where am I wrong ?
