[directfb-users] Matrox G400 DH Max Framebuffer Kernel 2.6.5

Hello,

I'm having problems with the Matrox G400 DualHead Max adapter getting
frame buffers to work under kernel 2.6.5. The mode seems to be fixed at
640x480.

the kernel command line is:
kernel /boot/kernel-2.6.5 root=/dev/hda5 ro splash=silent hdd=ide-scsi
video=matrox:init,vesa:0x31A,mtrr

and the dmesg output is:

Plus the vesafb doesn't seem to work under 2.4.26 for the same adapter.

The vesafb seems to work fine for the G550 adapters.

Any ideas what could be wrong.
