Dear Sir,

I have question related to running application on directfb.

I have the following machine configuration.
PC with Debian linux, display card - ATI mach64 rage IIC

with this configuration, can I run the applications on directfb ?

I have been setup environment with the following procedure:

a. Installed Debian Linux one Pentium Machine
b. Rebuilding the linux kernel
Taken the linux kernel ver. 2.4.24
applied the patch fusion-full-linux-2.4.22.patch.bz2
configured with "make menuconfig" with following

Processor type and features --->
[*] MTRR (Memory Type Range Register) support

Code maturity level options --->
Prompt for development and/or incomplete code/drivers

Character devices --->
Fusion Kernel Device (NEW)

Console drivers --->
Frame-buffer support --->
Support for frame buffer devices (EXPERIMENTAL) (NEW)
<*> ATI Mach64 display support (EXPERIMENTAL)
[ ] Mach64 GX support (EXPERIMENTAL)
[*] Mach64 CT/VT/GT/LT (incl. 3D RAGE) support
[ ] Mach64 generic LCD monitor support (EXPERIMENTAL)

File systems --->
Virtual memory file system support (former shm fs)

The built kernel is installed and rebooted the machine.

c. DirectFB has been installed (downloaded from cvs repository)

I am not able to run the application. I would like to know any procedure is
missing in the above.

Thanks and Regards
Mata
