[directfb-users] Re: linux, mips, uClibc, example code, "ID not found"
Hi, Scott A McConnell <email@example.com> writes: > *** README Mon May 27 08:19:27 2002 > --- README.new Fri Jun 7 08:54:17 2002 > *************** > *** 74,79 **** > --- 74,88 ---- > describing your mouse-protocol to /etc/directfbrc or > ~/.directfbrc: > "mouse-protocol=[ms|ms3|mouseman|mousesystems]". > > + 5) If you are cross compiling and have installed the required > libraries > + someplace other than /usr/local/lib be sure to add the bin > directory > + for those libraries to the front of your 'PATH'. > + > + For instance if you configured using: > + --prefix=/dfb/usr/local > + then be sure to > + export PATH=/dfb/usr/local/bin:$PATH > + before compiling and installing. > > Configuring the Linux framebuffer device > ---------------------------------------- this is not at all DirectFB specific, I don't think it should go into the README. It would fit well into a DirectFB-Compiling-HOWTO that explains how to compile DirectFB apps, dynamically or statically linked, how to use dietlibc with DirectFB and some tips for cross-compiliation. Any help in creating such a document is highly appreciated. Salut, Sven -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with "unsubscribe directfb-users" as subject.
